If you are someone like me who spent childhood with Amiga, then you already got on the nostalgia train as soon as you heard the name Zool. This extremely difficult platform game was among my favorites at the time, I loved both games of the series and I loved the design of the main character.
Sumo Digital has announced that it will resurrect this classic platform game. The game, called Zool Redimensioned, says it was “made from scratch for today’s players,” but fortunately, there is no such sharp change in graphics. It looks more like an HD version of the old version, which I think is a good thing. The sentence “Zool’s old-school platform action will challenge even the hardest players” in the description means that they did not touch the difficulty of the game. So you will be able to understand what old players are going through 🙂
Of course, features such as level selection screen, checkpoints, etc. have been added to the game. This means that you won’t face that extra hassle caused by the absence of such features in the past.
In this new version, new hidden parts have been added to the chapters, and the Mega Drive version of the game comes with it. It is said to be released this month, but the price is not certain, so I immediately added it to my wish list.
