A Final Fantasy fan became the first player in the world to earn all the achievements in the series.
Talan Kirk, known as Rebourne07 on Reddit and PSN, talked about his adventure, which started with his first success in Final Fantasy 13 in November 2010 and ended with the achievements added with Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on August 8, 2021.
He was one of only two people to earn all the Final Fantasy achievements available two years ago, but since then Square Enix has released new PS4 games, such as the Final Fantasy VIII remaster, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles remaster. It’s not as finite as usual, the PS5 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake and DVO Final Fantasy XIV also have their own achievements.
One of the things that makes this success difficult is the PS5 versions of the games. E.g Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
While the PS4 version of had the success of joining 1000 Fate, the PS5 version added a new achievement, increasing the Fate requirement to 3000.
Talan Kirk says he assumes all these achievements take around 3000 hours. Moreover, he is not someone who can devote all his time to games, he works full time, is married and has three children.
