One of the games I’ve been wondering about the most since the day it was announced, Forza Horizon 5. Not only as a car enthusiast, but also as a racing games enthusiast, I’m excited about the arrival of the new game. At Gamescom, which was opened yesterday, new images were shared to fuel our excitement.
As a car lover, my biggest obsession with these style racing games is the realism of the cars. Thanks to this trailer, we can see that the developer team is emphasizing on each model. With the Ford Bronco, which we saw in the first trailer, we first dive into the arid regions of Mexico. The model, which we see racing an Aston Martin DBX on the ground, also reveals the dangers of Mexico.
In the second step, we drop off the plane with a Corvette C8. The C8 is the first mid-engined Corvette produced by Chevrolet in years. The fact that this vehicle, which has an atmospheric engine, got into the sandstorm without fail, broke my heart. Will that engine work in that sandstorm? Well, at least it sounds pretty satisfying. . .
Then we take a trip in a Porsche through the jungles of Mexico. Of course, this model we are looking at is not an ordinary Porsche. It’s a 1982 Porsche 911 Safari TX. We can recognize this model from its iconic lighting at the front and its huge spoiler at the rear. They reflected the sound of the model’s boxer engine incredibly well.
However, my favorite in the trailer falls on the asphalt in the last seconds. This model, which we focus on in the main trailer, is one of the most special models of Mercedes-AMG. Technically produced from the bones of Mercedes’ F1 group driver Lewis Hamilton, the AMG One blends a 1.6-liter V6 engine with four electric units.
In short, I’m already excited for Forza Horizon 5. The game will be released on November 5th.
