When the computer comes home “I’m not just going to play games on this”
I produced a thesis with plenty of arguments called . Of course, these theses did not have any truth, the flatter the world, the farther the computer was from the game for me. Just starting to get used to the new environment, it was very normal to do a warm-up with the games of the previous generation. It was very difficult to find games in the first period, there was no CD player in my place yet, then there was no CD player, but we had a wonderful older sister. So, while we were cruising between such old games, my elder cousins came with a bag in their hands and Jedi Outcast with game Kyle Katarn
The first acquaintance with took place.
for me back then Star Wars
Everything that made sense to was two words; lightsaber. Behind the bag, a brother in a brown uniform was swinging his deep blue sword, here’s the opportunity I’ve been waiting for! However, when we started the game, there was no sign of the lightsaber, we were starting to move forward with a blaster, that is, a “bastard bastard weapon”. After the first episode that I accidentally passed, there was a puzzle in the second episode and that puzzle became a terrible one for me. The first time I had the chance to continue my adventure when my cousins passed it. The next is already bonding with Kyle Katarn, Design
getting beaten from , Luke
It included adventures such as going to and getting the relic back.
My teacher my dear my dear my
I told you that because the lightsaber was so important to me, reaching that beautiful lightsaber was one of the happiest moments a child could imagine after Luke’s test mission to retrieve the sword in the Jedi Outcast. Jedi Outcast is over and Kyle Katarn is now a role model for me. Then came the Jedi Academy, again the same cousins brought the game, this time in a bag of two CDs. Bags were like an artifact from far away places for me. Kyle Katarn became a teacher when I thought we were going to do so much more with Kyle Katarn at Jedi Academy! Earlier, whenever Luke Skywalker had said, “I feel a strong uneasiness,” Katarn had said, “Never mind, you always feel that way,” in response, and was now a more uneasy person.
It would have been a terrifying experience for my second favorite game character (don’t think I forgot you, Max!) to come across as a teacher while I was dealing with all kinds of teachers at school. Fortunately, Kyle (I say so because he calls me Kyle himself) was nothing like the teachers at our school. We went on adventures to various parts of the galaxy together with Jaden, who looks like David Beckham this time, by calling the teacher a life sacrifice. My teacher was with me sometimes, sometimes he said “you can handle this, lion piece” and made you feel his power.
Towards the end of the play, when my teacher Kyle said ‘calm down’ in that famous scene, I got very angry. That Rosh should have died there, but it was good to hear the big word. Because if I had made the wrong decision there, a terrible scenario would ensue leading to a fight with Kyle. Even after I finished the game many times later, I always avoided fighting Kyle except for a couple of times. I mean, if Rockstar says kill Max Payne in a game one day, I’ll probably refund you. Some time passed and I learned that there is a secret that has been kept from me all these years! Kyle Katarn had a much bigger history!
The Sith Hide The Games From Me
For me, this meant new games to be played with Kyle Katarn, but there was a problem, there was no internet in our house and none of these old games were available in the CD store. I took my breath away at my father’s workplace with a 1 GB USB stick, saying that there is no end to the remedies in democracy. When I learned the names of the games, I wrote them on a piece of paper so as not to forget. Dark Forces, Dark Forces II and Mysteries of the Sith! In these three games that were released between 1995-1998, a detail that was quite superb for me, even beyond the “INCREDIBLE” was hidden. In Dark Forces 2, Kyle Katarn is bloodied in all cutscenes. It was a lot of fun to watch Kyle and Jyn live as we didn’t expect such CGI sickness great graphics back then.
I wrote that at the beginning, I played all kinds of MS-DOS games in the first period I bought the computer, so playing these three old games was not difficult for me at that time. On the contrary, I was playing with more pleasure because I would see the cutscenes. However, the first Dark Forces game was a bit problematic, I couldn’t play it fully at that time, and later we closed this gap. In fact, when I started using Steam, the first games I bought on my account were Dark Forces 2 and Mysteries of the Sith. When Star Wars is involved, I think it is absolutely necessary to understand the aftermath of the timeline and then the before. This is exactly how the situation progressed in the adventure of Kyle Katarn, as in the movies.
In Mysteries of the Sith, there was a name I didn’t know at that time, but later when I was too busy with Star Wars, I said “did I play with this”, Mara Jade! We first saw Mara Jade, Luke Skywalker’s only wife in the canon story at the time, as Kyle Katarn’s padawan. So before Jedi Academy, Kyle had a teaching experience. Considering the story of Mysteries of the Sith, which we also played with Mara, and what it added to the universe, I once again remembered how disappointing Disney’s Star Wars trilogy was. What if Kyle, Luke and Mara lived together happily? . .
Kyle Katarn is still one of my two favorite game characters today. If we add Tommy Vercetti along with Max Payne, they made sure that my childhood and youth were wonderful. They created memories that I will never forget. in Star Wars “What if Han was a Solo Jedi?” the answer would be simple, like Kyle Katarn. We’ve already seen Kyle fighting with a blaster rather than a lightsaber in the game series. His repentance to the Force and his return when he was in a bad mood, his finally being persuaded by Luke to become a teacher, his past as an agent. . . Kyle Katarn wasn’t a classic Jedi. He never claimed to be a Jedi either; he was an ordinary man with a lightsaber.
