The Fallout: London trailer, released in June, introduced us to the mode that will bring Fallout 4 to England. It was a pretty big project, with a real DLC sized story, and the trailer showed that they took their work very seriously.
Apparently, this project excited not only the players, but also the Bethesda administration; Fallout: London’s lead author, Stephanie Zachariadis, received a direct job offer from Bethesda and now has the role of task designer at the studio.
The Fallout: London team is also very happy with this development: “Stephanie has been a pillar of our team and has helped create the fantastic and engaging main story and dialogue that we believe you will really enjoy – she will now showcase her talents on the slate with Todd”
Fallout: London takes place in 2237 and the world of the game is quite different compared to the American-based Fallout. For example, Vault-Tec does not exist in England, and since the Forced Evolutionary Virus did not reach England, magnificent mutants did not appear.
Zachariadis will no longer be able to contribute to the Fallout: London mod, as Bethesda has strict rules about it. But the group essentially says that it has “completed everything it needs to do”.
