Bethesda is now Team Xbox

Phil Spencer announced today that Microsoft has acquired ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks. The Xbox Game Pass is now being expanded.

Xbox and Bethesda are now one team

It was recently announced that Xbox is entering into a partnership with EA and that the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be expanded to include EA’s games. Now there is more good news. Phil Spencer is delighted to welcome Bethesda and thus franchises like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, DOOM, Dishonored, Prey, Quake, Starfield and many others to Xbox:

The Xbox Game Pass is expanding

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will soon have even more choices. After Microsoft bought Bethesda Studios for around 7.5 billion dollars, according to the Bloomberg website, the service will be expanded to include iconic franchises for consoles and PCs.

But Spencer also looks forward to upcoming projects, including Starfield, the highly anticipated new space epic currently being developed by Bethesda Game Studios. We will keep you up to date.
