Warner Brothers all cinemas that will be released in 2021 HBO Max was a great success. Even the biggest reflection in this bet Dune director of cinema Denis Villeneuve had given. However, it seems that the ice between Villenueve and WB has melted. Two months before the screening of the cinema, the successful director has already started to praise the support he saw from Warner Bros. Villenueve said that Dune is a very difficult book to adapt.

“We’ve heard a lot in the past years that it was impossible to make this book a movie adaptation. Yes, it’s an impossible mission. The first thing we wanted to do was prove that this movie could exist as a super, well-known movie. I think we did it. Everyone at Warner Bros and Legendary. It’s one hundred percent behind the project. If the movie doesn’t do a terrible box office, it’s quite possible for a sequel to Dune to come. Because they loved the movie that came out, everybody is proud of the movie and wants to move it forward. They’ve done half the work right now. That’s the bet for now. I am very positive.”

The script for Dune’s second movie is currently being written. October 22

The cinema, which will be broadcast on HBO Max at the same time as the cinemas on , was already promising great potential with its wide set. Now we expect the movie to be successful at the box office and the series to continue. Let’s see if Dune Cosmos finally gets to the place it deserves in the new period science fiction cinema.
