Blizzard is currently living through one of the most turbulent times in its history. Blizzard’s name has shrunk in our eyes when we talk about the emergence of scandals within the company, lawsuits, resignations, dismissals. In fact, even though I have not the slightest interest in Blizzard games after learning the inside story of what happened in the company, there is a game news in the end and we need to share it.
Diablo Immortal, the game that will carry Blizzard’s famous Diablo series to mobile, will not be released in 2021 as previously planned. The new release date of the game has been updated as the first half of 2022.
The game, which is currently undergoing closed alpha tests, continues to take shape in the light of feedback from the players. But Blizzard announced that the changes planned as a result of these notifications will not be able to reach 2021 as they previously thought, so they postponed the game to 2022 to gain more time.
New 8-player raids will join Diablo Immortal, as well as the game’s current Bounty system will change and Challenge Rifts will be more rewarding. In the PvP part, the game’s Battleground system and Cycle of Strife will be overhauled.
For now, there is no change in the release date of Diablo 2: Resurrected, it looks like it will be released on September 23. Diablo 4 does not have a release date yet.
