Konami shared new details about the eFootball game it announced recently.
If you remember, Konami changed the name of the PES series to eFootball and made it free to play. It was said that the game will be released in the autumn months, and then new features will be added.
Konami answered some of the questions in the new FAQ published on Twitter. Saying that the version that will be released in August should be considered as a demo, Konami states that everything in that version will be completely free. When the rest of the content is added, micropayments and add-on purchases will be activated.
One of the mods that will be added later is Master League, Konami says it will be available as a premium add-on at a later date. A significant portion of the game’s purchasable content will already be optional, allowing players to play a game with only the parts they want.
Option Files and Edit Mode features will come to PC and PlayStation consoles after the game’s release, but these features will not be available on Xbox.
Although Konami plans to bring eFootball to mobile devices, this will not cause the PC and console versions of the game to be graphically weak. Konami says that each platform will make maximum use of its hardware. Of course the mobile version will not look as good as PC/PS5/Xbox.
