iPhone 13 is picking up speed: Apple finally gives the green light for the best feature
Just under six months, then there’s the new iPhone 13 from Apple to marvel at. This is now picking up speed, among other things because Apple has finally given the green light for what is probably the best feature. What can customers look forward to?
The Android competition has had them for a long time, but Apple will only introduce the fast 120 Hz displays with the iPhone 13. The previous rumors have now been confirmed by a corresponding report in the industry magazine “The Elec”.
iPhone 13: Apple sends Samsung on the trail
Specifically, Samsung is to start producing so-called LTPO screens for Apple in the first half of the year. These not only require less power but are also explicitly intended to enable refresh rates of up to 120 Hz. LTPO? Have Apple users known from the Apple Watch since Series 5? What the latest report does not directly mention, but which was already discussed in February, is the associated option of an “always-on display”. Apple’s smartwatch can already shine with it, and the iPhone 13 could also be equipped with it.
This would make it possible to keep an eye on certain things on the display without the battery power consumption is greatly affected. Together with the extremely fast refresh rate, it would be by far the best feature of the upcoming iPhone 13. However, only buyers of the two Pro versions of the upcoming Apple cell phone should look forward to it, because the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, however, will continue to be “normal” “Getting OLED screens. So Apple is again providing a stronger differentiator.
Further features and release date of the iPhone 13
What else can we look forward to with the iPhone 13? Recently, there have been more detailed reports on the successor to the iPhone 12 (currently available at Amazon, by the way, much cheaper). We briefly summarize the last rumors:

- The notch (display notch) is smaller.
- Customers are to receive a storage option to 1 TB for the first time.
- A power-saving 5G modem from Qualcomm is used.
