Square Enix will re-release the first 6 games of the Final Fantasy series as Pixel Remaster, the first 3 of which were released within the past week. The biggest criticism about the games was that the font used had a very modern style compared to the graphics of the games, but was also very small, narrow and difficult to read.

As always, the job fell to the players and modders, of course, we have seen attempts to fix the font since the game’s release. There were some successful ones among them, but since the interface of the game was adjusted according to this narrow font, problems such as overflow of text could be encountered in some parts.

The font shared by Twitter user Patera Quetzal is the kind that solves all these problems. Inspired by the font used in Earthbound, Quetzal made sure that all custom glyphs and numbers look neat as well.
