Matt Damon was a guest of First We Feast’s Hot Ones appearance, and he also made interesting statements about video games in this program. It’s always nice to see video game-loving celebrities, after all, we can say that Damon joined them.
Matt Damon was a huge Myst fan, even though he was offered “tons of money” for this cause, he refused to act in The Bourne Conspiracy.
Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy from 2008 is a game based on the famous Bourne series, most notably The Bourne Identity, starring Matt Damon. But Damon says he doesn’t want to act in an FPS game.
“I didn’t want to make a first-person shooter game. They offered me a lot of money, but I wanted it to be thought through a bit more. So, you know, I wanted it to be like Myst. I love that game. I told them to “make it more like a Myst”. They did too. they told me “no” and went and played the game without me,” says Damon.
Damon gave some interviews on this subject after this game came out, but it seems that he escaped from everyone’s radar at that time. He must be still dreaming of a Myst-style Jason Bourne play.
