The cast of The Witcher: Blood Origin, which Netflix will present as the prequel to The Witcher and will consist of six parts, has started to be determined.
According to the statement from Netflix, British comedian Lenny Henry (cover art) will appear as Balor in the series, and we will watch Irish comedian Dylan Moran (below) as Uthrok One-Nut. The character’s name is really wonderfully chosen 🙂
This series will set 1200 years before the world of The Witcher and will shed light on the fusion of orbs that brought together monsters, humans and elves with the first Witchers.
Zach Wyatt as Syndril, Nathaniel Curtis as Brían, and Mirren Mack Merwyn as Jacob Collins Levy as Eredin. Lizzie Annis will play Zacaré, Huw Novelli Brother Death, Francesca Mills will play Meldof, and Amy Murray will play Fenrik.
The names of Sophia Brown (Éile), Laurence O’Fuarain (Fjall) and Michelle Yeoh (Scían) were announced before the series. Sarah O’Gorman and Vicky Jewson are the series’ directors.
