South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are working on a new South Park game. This game will be a “3D video game” and will not be released by Ubisoft, unlike The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole. This unnamed new game will be developed by Stone and Parker’s own internal studios.

The Stick of Truth (2014) and The Fractured but Whole (2017) were developed in collaboration with Ubisoft, even with Obsidian’s signature under the first game.

  • South Park: Fractured But Whole – Review

The first two games were launched as South Park games, but there is only the phrase “It will take place in the South Park world” for this new game. This brings to mind the question of whether this new game will be about different characters.

  • South Park and MTV Sign a Giant 6-Year Agreement

After all, according to the $900 million ViacomCBS agreement signed by South Park, not only was it approved until the 30th term, but an agreement was made for 14 cinemas that would “expand the existing world”. This new game may also be a member of the so-called ‘extended cinematic universe’.
