Rainbow Six Siege’s new operation, Crystal Guard, was officially detailed in a live stream last night. Plenty of changes will be waiting for us in the new update of the game. But before we look at these changes, let’s take a closer look at our new operator, Osa.
Osa will add a new advantage to the attack team’s hand. Equipped with medium speed and armor, what makes our character special is his shield, which is very reminiscent of Mira’s. By placing this shield on windows or door sills, Osa can provide a sheltered view to himself and his group. In fact, players will be able to protect Osa from incoming attacks by simply holding the shield. I already have many plans in mind. . .
Let’s say that Osa’s shield can be installed at any point. So you can think of this shield as a “deployable shield” for the attack team. The only difference between these two is that Osa’s shield is transparent.
Of course, this transparent structure provides great advantages to Osa and her team. Just like in Mira, Osa’s shield has a tube that breaks the bulletproof glass when you explode it. This paves the way for Osa to easily hunt down his opponent in tangential situations.
Another change that comes will be Twitch, Fuze and IQ regulations. In the new period, this trio is getting a little stronger than before. For example, Twitch’s drones will now be able to jump. The team, which also replaces the tasers of drones with lasers, underlines that the drone will have unlimited range in this way. So you’ll be able to blow up opponent equipment from far away.
Fuze’s Cluster Charge equipment can now pass through fortified walls. However, during this transition, equipment that leaves an effect like Thermite’s explosives makes itself vulnerable to detonation. IQ’s special equipment will now be able to ping any equipment it detects to its squadmates.
Let’s move on to the map arrangements. . . Along with Operation Crystal Guard, known maps such as Coastline, Bank and Clubhouse will also undergo changes. As you can see in the image above, we will see that the visibility of operators will increase in the new period.
