As part of CES 2021, it was shown what the future of technology has in store. Razer had brought a few things along, including new gaming laptops with RTX GPUs, LED masks, and Project Brooklyn, a new gaming chair with a fold-out display. What else does he have to offer? We’ll go into more detail.

Razer: the gaming chair of the future?

At first glance, Project Brooklyn looks almost like a typical racing seat-inspired gaming chair with RGB accents, but it has a lot more to offer. On the back of the chair, for example, Razer has hidden a fold-out 60-inch OLED full surround display that surrounds you at the push of a button and is the highlight of this chair. This is somewhat reminiscent of a new gaming television from LG, whose screen can also be bent at the push of a button.

Back to Razer. Project Brooklyn’s armrests convert into a tray to comfortably accommodate your keyboard and mouse, or to store your snacks and drinks while you sit back and watch your favorite movie.

The chair also uses Razer’s Hypersense technology, which was introduced at CES 2019. So Razer found a way to build haptic feedback into the frame of the chair. According to PCGamer, the company said one should imagine feeling the rumble of an explosion all over one’s body, which is a terrifying but at the same time fascinating thought.

In view of the fact that this type of bendable display does not yet exist, you will have to wait a while before you can actually bring such a chair home.

However, you can have this immediately.

What’s your first impression of Razer’s Project Brooklyn? Would that be something for you, or do you prefer the classic version with a table, monitor and chair? Visit us on Facebook and write us in the comments.
