Apple reveals the date for iPadOS 14 and Co.

Anyone who already owns hardware from Apple naturally wonders when the new versions of the operating systems that Apple has tested in recent months will appear. As part of today’s event, Apple revealed when iPads and Apple Watches and AppleTV will receive their new versions. You should mark the following date on your calendar:

  • iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14 will be released on September 16, 2020

Tomorrow the Apple servers will really be pushed to the maximum and countless people worldwide will be pulling updates to their iPhone, iPads and a few also to their Apple TV. In the evening, around 6 or 7 p.m., the updates should then be available from us. So keep the evening free tomorrow. Incidentally, this also applies to iOS 14.

The following devices are compatible

iPadOS 14:

  • 12.9 ″ iPad Pro (4th generation)

  • iPad (6th generation)

So Apple is again supporting a lot of older products so that customers who do not want to buy a new iPad or a new Apple Watch can also enjoy new functions. In particular, the support for the iPad Air 2 and the Apple Watch Series 3, which are now really cheap, must be emphasized positively. Other manufacturers don’t do that and let their customers down.
