Rimworld, which has managed to create a unique audience, continues its life with updates even though it debuted in 2018. The game, which has not received any updates for 15 months, is finally here with a huge patch and a new additional package. Before we look at the expansion pack, let’s take a look at patch 1.3.
The free 1.3 update, which will be released by the producers “after 15 months of effort”, will smooth many points where the game is missing. New stables and fences for animals, new relationship system and even more skilled enemies are among the titles of this update. You can even add beards to your colonists now. Wonderful!
But the biggest change will come with an additional package called Ideology. One of the developers, Tynan Sylvester, took the instrument in his blog post to explain this issue. Expressing that they see the game as an RPG from the very beginning, the developer believes that you can customize your colony much more easily thanks to this ideology tree.
In fact, this situation was designed entirely based on the gameplay options of the players. Tynan emphasizes that many players enjoy creating their own unique colonies. That’s why the Ideology expansion pack will increase these options and allow you to create different cultures. In fact, in the article, our developers shared with us that they can create a cannibalistic colony that worships trees.
Update 1.3 will be added to the game in a few weeks. But if you want, you can be a guest of the beta process of the update. All you have to do is right-click on the game from your Steam library, select the “1.3-preview” option under the properties, beta section.
The Ideology package is also expected to arrive at the same time. According to our estimates, the price of the package will be around 32 TL.
