Samsung’s August 2021 Galaxy Z Flip 3
(with Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to be released. Ahead of the launch event, most of the device’s features and specifications, along with its design, were leaked online. And now, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is Samsung’s The first foldable phone with S Pen support can be verified.
The US version of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 (SM-F926U and SM-F926U1) received FCC certification earlier today, and the supporting documents reveal a lot of exciting information. The foldable smartphone will feature 5G (mmWave and below 6GHz), 4G LTE, CDMA, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC and UWB. It will also stand out as Samsung’s first foldable smartphone to come with S Pen support.
In addition, 9W Qi wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support will also be offered.
However, the S Pen may not come with the device and the phone may not have a special slot to store the pen. Like the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung may sell an additional case for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 that includes an S Pen slot.
Looking at the previous news, we see the following: Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have a 6.2-inch cover screen (Super AMOLED Infinity-O) and a 7.5-inch Super AMOLED foldable screen. Both displays are said to feature a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The phone could be offered equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor, 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, stereo speakers and an official IP rating.
It was also among the previously reported information that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 could be 20% cheaper than the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
