Samsung, edited  Mobile World Congress (MWC) introduced the new One UI Watch user experience at its event. new interface, Galaxy Watch is designed to better connect the experiences offered by smartwatches and Galaxy smartphones, while Samsung One UI Watch interface can be used for Galaxy Watch on the new and unified platform developed with Google. Yes, Samsung’s new smartwatch platform Android based, meaning the Tizen platform will no longer power Samsung’s smartwatches. Well what does it mean?

What this means is on Samsung’s smartwatches Tizen means it closed the ledger, while the current Tizen-based Galaxy Watch watches will receive software updates for up to 3 years. While making the relevant statement on this subject, Samsung also answered a curious question.

Existing Galaxy Watch smartwatches will continue to receive software updates for up to 3 years, but Wear OS operating system will not be updated. This statement will upset existing Galaxy Watch owners, but at least it is a welcome detail that the updates continue. Still, those who own the Galaxy Watch were waiting to receive the Wear OS update.

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch is next Unpacked is expected to introduce it at the event.
