Sony, LittleBigPlanet for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita announced that it is permanently shutting down online services. In other words, multiplayer games and communities LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet 3 (on PS3) and LittleBigPlanet are no longer available for PS Vita. However, you can still play the story modes.

The LittleBigPlanet team said in a statement, ” We have no doubt that this news will be a disappointment to many of you.” and added: ” After all, this was the best way to defend the LittleBigPlanet community and help ensure that our online environment stays believable.

Sony had already temporarily shut down LittleBigPlanet’s online services in May, following DDOS attacks and hackers issuing offensive statements.
