Postponing the release dates of the games for the last 2 years has become common news. On the one hand, it is sad, especially when it comes to the games that you are looking forward to the release of. However, on the other hand, when you see the disappointing games that come out before they are ready, the word “get it late, don’t be hard” comes to mind.
The news of the postponement this time came from SEGA; With the statement made, it was announced that Total War: WARHAMMER III was postponed to the first months of 2022. Although the previously announced release date is 2021, the fact that no clear date has been shared so far made us think that such a delay might come, and it really happened.
The reason for the delay was explained as “to give the Creative Assembly team time to optimize the game more efficiently”. In the postponement announcement; Rob Bartholomew mentions that they do not see the release of this game as the end of a trilogy, but rather as the beginning of content that will last for years.
We hope that it will be as mentioned and we look forward to it.
