We are approaching the day that 4X strategy lovers eagerly await. Humankind, which has come to shake the throne of Civilization, which has been sitting on top of medicine for years, will increase the competition with its unique features. The thing that excites a group of people, including myself, is that cultures can be mixed with each other.

This is exactly why we have prepared a list for you that will allow you to create a few plans in advance. In this article, you will find the cultures that you will encounter in every age of Humankind. But before we start, we need to take a closer look at some translations and phrases.

First of all, I find it useful to examine the systems called Affinity. We will translate Affinity as “Orientation” in the rest of the article. Each culture has its own Orientation, and again, like any 4X strategy, these Orientations consist of bonuses that can lead you to victory.

There are 7 Orientations in total in Humankind:

  • Aesthete (Aesthetic Focus): These cultures have a focus on influence and diplomacy.
  • Agrarian (Agriculture Focused): As the name suggests, cultures focused on food and population growth.
  • Builder (Build Focus): Cultures that stand out with their Industrial and Regional constructions.
  • Expansionist (Expansion Focused): Cultures that focus on growing their ends.
  • Merchant (Trade Focused): Cultures focused on money and commerce.
  • Militarist (Soldier Focused): Soldier and war-oriented cultures.
  • Scientist (Science Focused): Cultures to rush into science and technology.

In addition, each culture has its own Emblematic Unit, Emblematic Quarter and Legacy Trait. I named them Symbolic Unit (SB), Special Building (ÖU) and Cultural Savings (KB) respectively. Since we do not know the Turkish equivalents of these for now, I give these names in the name of being understandable.

The first era in which we start the game will be the Neolithic era. Every player starts out as a Nomadic Tribe. The KB of this culture offers us three different options, and with these options, we can get an increase in industry, food or science as our city grows. Our Symbolic Unit is the Tribe.

In the following parts of the article, I will continue by explaining the Cultural Accumulation of each unit. I plan to compile SB and PBs and the best combinations in future articles.
