The Chinese phone maker confirmed to XDA Developers that it will launch future devices without the Mi branding. The first example of this was the Mix 4 powered by the Snapdragon 888+ chipset. However, XDA underlines that Xiaomi’s works sold in China do not actually carry the Mi brand.
In addition to smartphones, we’ve also seen the Mi brand in other product categories, such as tablets, wearables, and laptops. It seems that the Mi brand will no longer be on these devices.
